1. His vocals were excellent, however. The mix of reworked Police songs and numbers from Dream Of The Blue Turtles worked well. We Work The Black Seam has always been a personal favorite. I found Bring On The Night as an expensive import double LP over 20 years ago. Upgrading to CD was actually less pricey than the original album.

2. Bring on the Night by The Police song meaning, lyric interpretation, video and chart position. Written by Sting, this is the fourth track from the band's second album. Drummer Stewart Copeland lists it as one of their best album cuts. Sting borrowed lyrics from "Carrion Prince (O Ye of Little Hope)," a song he wrote for his previous band.

3. The set list draws from (for me) Sting's best solo work and some tasty new arrangements of Police hits (the plaintive "Message in a Bottle" stands out). But the best thing in this movie is the FUNKY jazz groove that the band adds to Sting's compositions. Check out the extended jams on "Consider Me Gone" and "Bring on the Night.".

To coincide with their 30th anniversary reunion tour in the Police released the anthology The Police, the first two-CD retrospective ever assembled on the neramarwhitecasterkelerim.xyzinfo may not have had a double compilation to their credit, but they had single discs and box sets, which may raise the question of whether they need a set like this -- and the answer is yes, but this set falls just a bit short of.
